Project Update - It's been a fast seven
months since construction began on Boot Hill Casino & Resort,
and we're way-over-due in letting you know what is happening.
The Casino Building (exterior) and parking
lots are completed and interior finish is progressing rapidly.
There are about 65 sub-contract employees on site every day
finishing interior stone and brick masonry, electrical, wall and
ceiling finishes, casework and trim, ceramic tile, plumbing,
kitchen installation and a hundred other things. It's very
attractive and you will be pleased. We've attached a couple of
photos and you can go to the Casino website for many more.
Construction Tours are essentially closed
now, as installation of security systems and other equipment
prevent public viewing. We're sure you will understand.
Opening Date is expected to be about
December 15, 2009. There have been many rumors that it may be
(or will be) earlier - but that's not true at this time.
Because of great weather and very competent construction
management and sub-contractors, the building is two weeks or
more more ahead of schedule. But, a thousand things could go
wrong, especially as very high-tech systems are installed and
tested, that could cause the project to fall behind.
Casino Website will be up shortly, so please
check back often. Go to
www.boothillcasino.com and revisit often as
we keep you up to date on the project, employment opportunities,
information for suppliers, and most exciting - on-line
membership registration for Boot Hill Casino's Players
Club.
